Research Scenario
Wouldn't it be great to take a trip to the Great Red Spot on Jupiter or visit the rings of Saturn? That day might not be so far away . . . commercial space tourism is now a real possibility, not just something out of a science fiction story.
Consider this: The company Virgin Galactic is already selling tickets to tourists for flights to space from Spaceport America in New Mexico!
Suppose you were to book a flight on Virgin Galactic's space tour . . . what would you expect to see and experience on other planets? For a long time, people assumed that our planet Earth is unique (completely unlike any of the other planets) in the solar system. In this investigation, you and your classmates will research a planet in order to create an informational travel video script to convince others why they should visit this planet.
Task and Product:
Each group may have up to 4 members. Your group will be required to submit a written script, complete with stage directions to complete your project. The script must be a suitable length to show mastery of all of the required information. You may video your commercial for extra credit and submit it to me, but this is not required.
This project is due on

For example, visitors to Mercury may want to bring some heavy duty sunglasses and sunscreen because the sunrays are extra strong on this planet’s surface.
The special features should include rings, moons, volcanoes or other features that make the planet unique.
